Abstract：In order to solve the problem of user intent which is difficult to encode and measure because of its subjective, arbitrary and fuzzy characteristics in the area of product design. This paper analyzed user intent about internet products and its functional design by Fuzzy Theory, Entropy Method, Cluster Analysis Methods and Kano Model. The results show that the expression of fuzzy sets and entropy approach was able to distinguish between different user groups about weights of the characteristics of user intent, and the methods of card sorting and clustering analysis optimize the characteristics and build information architecture to guide product design. The research conclusion indicates the uncertainty of user intent was solved which provides a new idea for product design.
