Abstract：This paper took Fushun west open pit as an example in studying the key technique of deep concave open pit backfill chute. According to the movement rules and influencing factors of material in the chute, theoretical calculation, laboratory simulation method were used to determine the high elevation chute inclination, section shape parameter; according to the simulation results, empirical formulas and numerical Soviet H M Roy Neishvirial and C.M. Fowlie Bea J Man, the calculation model were used to establish the stone leaping in the chute, and determine the material in the chute movement speed and stones leap distance and height, and the design of protective walls; through the analysis particle of numerical simulation of dust diffusion law in the chute, diameters of the particle produced from the chute transportation and the open-pit stripping is below 100 µm, and the dust chute measures were proposed based on the analysis.
