Abstract：In order to obtain accurate deformation with high spatial and temporal resolution, and solve the problem of spatial discontinuity, this paper proposed a new technology of ground based InSAR and its key technologies for deformation monitoring. Deformation monitoring accuracy up to millimeter is demonstrated through theoretical analysis and experiments. Deformation monitoring experiment on Geheyan dam and slope show that ground base InSAR is an effective technique of deformation monitoring, and it can obtain continuous deformation information in large area with high accuracy day and night in all weather condition.
