Abstract：In view of the serious dust pollution from the coal belt-transport point in a coal preparation plant, the seal negative-pressure bag-type dust control mechanism was studied. According to the combination of the theoretical equation of particle motion with spot measured data, the migration trajectory for each-size dust particle affected by the induced air flow was found. The results show that particle tracking technique could be used to quantitatively analyze the dust collecting efficiency. The quantitative simulation data is in agreement with the spot measured data both before and after the adoption of dust control scheme. The removing efficiency of total dust and respirable dust could respectively be up to above 95% and 93%. The seal negative-pressure bag-type dust control method could be used to effectively decrease the dust concentration at the material-receiving point, which ensure the health of the worker.
